Stage 1: Prathama / Adya
Basic perspective, 20-grade tonal pencil shading, object drawing, and color theory.
Stage 2: Madhyama
Drapery still life, human facial anatomy, landscape perspective, and pastel blending.

Live model life drawing, wet-on-wet watercolors, acrylic impasto, and art history.
Stage 4: Visharad

Theory: Introduction to Art, Methods & Materials, Color Theory, Basic Art History.
Drawing: Freehand drawing, object and nature study, visual perspective, 1-point and 2-point vanishing points, bold and rhythmic lines, relationship between lines, value and texture.
Still Life: Drapery foreground/background, texture study across cloth, wood, glass, bronze, mirror, china clay, terracotta. Light and shade tonal variations.
